Privacy Policy

App: MapMeasure Pro  |  Effective: April 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how MapMeasure Pro ("the app", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. The app is built and operated by Victor Baronich.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information stored only on your device

• Saved projects (polygons, ruler paths, names, preferences) — stored locally in the app's database.
• App preferences (map type, units, usage counters) — stored locally via Android's standard preferences.

This information never leaves your device. We do not have access to it.

1.2 Information processed by third parties

• Location — When you grant location permission, Google Maps uses your device location to show your current position on the map. We do not collect, store, or transmit your location ourselves. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Subscription & billing — Subscriptions are processed by Google Play Billing and managed via RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated user ID, your device identifier, IP address, and purchase history to deliver entitlement status. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.

1.3 What we do NOT collect

• No analytics or behavioral tracking.
• No advertising identifiers.
• No personal contact information (name, email, phone) is requested by the app.
• No data is sold to third parties — ever.

2. How Information Is Used

The limited information processed by third parties (above) is used solely to:

• Display your location on the map (Google).
• Verify your subscription status and process billing (RevenueCat, Google Play).

3. Data Retention

Local project data persists on your device until you delete a project, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Subscription records are retained by Google and RevenueCat per their respective policies.

4. Your Choices

• Location: revoke location permission in your device settings at any time. The app will continue to work without it.
• Subscription: cancel anytime in your Google Play subscriptions page.
• Local data: delete projects from within the app, or uninstall to remove all local data.

5. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective" date above.
